Beside the model
The model is a sculpt of the non-pregnant pelvis and carries no endometrium, gravid uterus or fetus. Plates whose provenance is as clear as the model's fill those in: a labelled sagittal drawing, William Hunter's gravid uterus of 1774, and Gray's broad ligament laid out flat.
